What a night at a Prague strip club actually costs

Almost nobody in this business publishes prices, and that is not an accident. As long as you cannot see the numbers, the numbers can be adjusted. Here is what an evening genuinely costs, using our prices, plus the principles that apply anywhere in Prague.

Entry

In Prague this ranges from nothing to several hundred crowns. Free entry sounds generous but usually means the money is collected elsewhere — inflated drink prices, or a compulsory minimum you only hear about once you are inside.

With us, Sunday to Thursday there is no entry charge. Friday and Saturday it is 500 CZK and includes a welcome drink, so you are effectively paying for a drink rather than for a door. Cloakroom is always free.

Minimum spend — what it really is

This is where most misunderstandings start. A minimum spend is not a fee. It is an amount you have to run through the bar during the evening. Order more and the minimum is irrelevant; order less and you top up the difference.

• Bar — no minimum. Sit down and order what you want.
• Main room, table of four — 2,000 CZK per table
• Stage side, table of four — 3,000 CZK per table
• VIP room for eight — 6,000 CZK per room
• The Golden Vault, up to twenty — 15,000 CZK per room

Drinks

For reference, our prices: beer 290 CZK, a glass of prosecco 290 CZK, cocktails 450–520 CZK, soft drinks 190 CZK. Bottles start around 6,500 CZK for Moët & Chandon and go up from there. Mixers, ice and glassware come with the bottle and are not charged separately.

Yes, that is more than a pub. You are paying for the room, the service and the programme running while you drink. What matters is that you know the numbers in advance and that they do not change at midnight.

Shows

Stage performances are included. They run several times a night and cost nothing extra whether you are at the bar or in a private room.

You only pay for programme aimed at your group: a table dance from 1,900 CZK, a private show in a VIP room from 5,900 CZK for fifteen minutes. Bottle service packages include three to five table dances, which works out cheaper than buying them individually.

Three realistic evenings

• Couple, weeknight, a few drinks at the bar — roughly 1,500–2,500 CZK total
• Four people, Saturday, table in the main room and a bottle of prosecco — roughly 4,000–6,000 CZK for the table
• Eight on a stag do, VIP room with the Gold package — 15,990 CZK for the group, about 2,000 CZK each including the programme

The tricks to watch for

These apply to any venue in the city, not just this business. If you see them, the evening is likely to get expensive:

2. 02A service charge or cover that was never mentioned.
3. 03A total with no itemised breakdown.
4. 04Drinks on the bill that nobody ordered.
5. 05A surcharge for paying by card.
6. 06Prices that are different at 1 AM than they were at 10 PM.

The whole defence takes ten seconds: before you sit, ask about entry, minimum spend and anything compulsory. Then ask for an itemised bill at the end. Venues that plan to overcharge you get noticeably less comfortable during that conversation.
